How can people honestly think the stock is getting shorted in size when it is up 100pc in the last week.
ML is buying on behalf of someone or a number of different investors. I'm pretty sure if beneficial ownership is >5% from a single investor/corporate buyer they too will have to lodge a substantial holder notice ie this is what happened when molson coors had swap agreements with deutsche. From memory deutsche lodged a substantial then mol son were forced to.
