I'm not happy with their performance either. Someone was asleep at the wheel on some of the issues that have plagued this business. Just as an outgoing Prime Minister accepts responsibility for his election failure, BOD should do the same. At least they would be respected for doing so.
I don't think the company needs to make a profit in order for the share price to increase. As long as they can show the potential, then the share price will climb.
