Vautex,
I haven't stated definatively in either of my two earlier posts that there is iron ore at Peak Hill. In the first, I placed a question mark after the words "iron ore". In the second, I then elaborated by stating "possible iron ore" with my personal thoughts of "probable" bracketed.
So, I don't see any problem with what I have posted. It seems to me that we are both of the same opinion. I, too eagerly await their results.
In regard to the hyperspectral survey, I am aware of what metal they were (officially) looking for. But does that official intention prevent them from finding other resources such as iron? And, wouldn't their surveys be able to identify these other resources at the same time?
I don't have the understanding of the process to know the answer to this question. Please let me know if it isn't possible to identify other resources when they are looking for gold and uranium.
