Good question.
The total number of shares acquired is substantial and anytime I've seen this sort of large acquisition, the stock gains a refreshing boost in support. Nothing much obvious but they wouldn't be taking such a large position in GPN without good reason.
With several irons in the fire and announcements overdue when the news is announced it should become more obvious why they bought the large stake....116M PLUS SHARES...
