Last night was not a good performance for US markets.
Not a good performance for TSX.
Not a good performance for AVM.

Anvil share price ended at $1.08 Canadian or $1.37 Australian.

My previous post asking would Anvil share price drop to $1.00 is now well justified.

The downtrend is so strong and uniform one has difficulty being optimistic.

The question might well be will Anvil share price drop to below $1.00?
Bizarre of course but this market takes no prisoners.

Still bargain time for accumulating Anvil shares.
If Anvil can profit at the price of copper that would send most copper produces out of business then Anvil must be a sound hold in the event of a world wide recession.
There will always be a need for copper however low the demand and Anvil will be a survivor and first to take off with a worldwide recovery and need for more copper.

The Quarterly Report is released this evening.
Not likely to be anything in the report which would be unexpected.
Anything that might change attitudes towards Anvil!

With the financial turmoil now prevalent one might well anticipate continued weakness in the share price.
Or a temporary move up or even lower in confirmation of present share downtrend.
