what has been happening with this stock?
I just checked XPE half year financial statements at 31 Dec 2017.
Cash balance = $4.8 million
Current assets = $7.9 million
Current liabilities = $1.5 million. Most current liabilities comprise "Trade payable and others" of $0.5 million and Provision of $0.7 million.
Liquidity ratio = 5.3 x
In terms of liquidity, presently the company looks healthy unless there is "something" beyond common sense.
Non current assets = $0.5 million. So it is unlikely to have "huge" impairment charges on the current assets because the amount of $0.5 million is not material compared to total assets of $8.5 million.
Non current liabilities are only $0.2 million.
Total equity = $6.7 million
Market value of equity at $0.005 = $6.2 million
Market value of equity is lower than its book value ? why?
