Consecutive NSW Governments have really stuffed up this process with the Star. Liberals started the debacle and Labour are now really screwing their unionised workforce. Egos are running the show. The Government has been silent, apart from to say that they will let it fail, yes thanks guys great leadership. They brought in the regulations to kill it - now they want to sit and watch it go under. The staff require better, 8,000 jobs in limbo. What are they trying to stop? CFMEU is where the laundering is more likely to be occurring in my view or the construction industry in general - no evidence of laundering has been found at the Star.
The new labour party is very different to the foundation party I followed. They seem too serous and arrogant to care about the average punter., what happened to a fair go.
