I suspect it was Telstra announcing they are going hard at 5G and using it as a fixed wireless broadband to go around the NBN. I didn't read their announcement in full, just some of the commentary suggesting it.

I don't think its valid, but anything moves this SP at the moment. They need some funds on board which soak up these kind of days.
