Due to expansion of the company. Suda is looking for a Formulation Scientist with experience in drug solubilisation and delivery with particular reference to liquid spray formulations.
Large enough to provide career pathways but small enough to provide our people with experience in all aspects of drug product development, this position provides opportunities to build connections with academic researchers and big pharma innovators. You will be responsible for every aspect of your projects and, under guidance of our experienced management team, gain the tools to be successful.
Working in a small team at our Osborne Park site, this is a fantastic opportunity to further develop your formulation skills and provide innovative solutions across a broad range of drug and disease categories
Responsibilities
As the Formulation Scientist, you will be responsible under the direction of the Chief Technical Officer for:
Formulating new products within the oromucosal area
Ensuring formulations comply with international regulations for pharmaceutical products
Documenting all design and development activities as appropriate to comply with GMP practices
Monitoring and evaluating new ingredients, packaging and technologies to ensure production of high quality products.
Providing innovative solutions to overcome product challenges
Working independently to maintain and improve existing products
Assisting Suda manufacturing operations by ensuring manufacturing formulations are robust and reproducible
Ideally you will possess:
· A Bachelor of Science in Chemical Sciences or equivalent
· Previous and relevant experience in oral solutions or sprays, or in transmucosal or transdermal formulations in industry or academia
· Previous experience in GMP environment
· Excellent time management skills and attention to detail
