Having endured 20 months of chemo recently (fortunately with minimal nausea effects myself), I feel fairly qualified to say that this particular delivery method could be HUGE in itself. The biggest problem when they start administering the chemo drug and you have a nausea reaction fairly straight away then the problem is that they try to give you a nausea tablet many people just throw back up, and also it feels like it takes forever to work if you are that sick. If this delivery method can help the drug to kick in a lot quicker then it is a massive win for the patient and also potentially for SUD.
Just a little insight into how good this delivery method will be and I will also be talking to my oncologist to get his thoughts as I am sure that he has not even heard about this yet. Oz.
