I meant to say "There would be no gain in a shorter trying to take a stock lower in 5% steps."
atm the resource stocks are all being driven lower. That does not necessarily mean that the shorters are having a go at the resources again. Buyers also like lower prices too and do drive prices lower at times to accumulate stock cheaper. If things recover in the afternoon, I'd say we are pretty safe. If not, caution is required.
