There could be a few reasons for the price jump:
* Interest rates falling mean people are looking for better yields than the banks are offering, and cash is moving into yield stocks.
* Falling interest rates lower borrowing costs for REITS (if borrowing on-shore; so might be a windfall for CMW).
* Recent dividend increase means an upward re-rating.
* Recent buy-up of the unlisted sister fund drops NTA a little, but did I read there might be another small upside to dividends?
* Word is being passed around about CMW. My accountant noticed CMW on my books and said he'd been told by a broker friend to buy some.
BUT ... we've been up to 85c before, and its usually dropped back to NTA. Be nice if this is a permanent re-rating this time; but I'm holding it for long-term yield in any case.
