Without a forest debate the Green members of parliment have no job, so who to target next as an environment killer? Miners! Easy fodder, Miners are making themselves rich by digging up our country and selling it overseas.

At federal level they have hinted at this in recent months and Tassie's Greenies are the puppet of Bob Brown and Christine Milne. Also the media loves a good Tassie Greenie story so national coverage is guaranteed if they start an action against a new and/or old mining in Tassie.

Although FNT best prospect is not in native forest(Prospect is in a timber platation) the argument that any environment group will make is down stream pollutants risks regardless of how small. I live here and I am aware of the delaying tricks, look at Gunns attempt to get a pulp mill built and the tactics Greens have used.
