Almost any casual observer would associate Abbott and other conservatives with a decade of dissent, first from Opposition (as in oppose everything), then from Government whilst PM (tough love unworkable stalled policy the country simply had to have forced down its throat), then more from Government whilst on back benches (sniping, undermining and wrecking).

Imo we need to value intelligence (IQ & EQ), consultation, empathy (with the nation for starters), vision, sound judgement and integrity in those elected to parliament irrespective of whether they are female or male.
Worshiping bone headed blokeyness and plotting to unbalance parliament with more of it won’t deliver much of a future for Australia imo.
