Lets not forget that during previous management reign that the government wanted to split Telstra anyway and the CEO was protecting shareholders, hence the battle. All these articles lack accountability and ownership. The government got rid of there so called problems (Sol and McGauchie)so there should be no more blame and shame. IMO the previous management faced huge obstacles with a narrow minded government. Why would Telstra invest in a 4.7 billion dollar NBN plan at the time when now those numbers have urned into 43 billion along with providing bush access????? Come on, give me a break....the government is definitely the root cause of problems and are trying to instigate propaganda to lead us to believe otherwise.
