    Absolutely right eMark. There were many new millionaires after the great depression. Although it is somewhat disconcerting watching the value of one's portfolio slipping down the toilet at the moment, there are fantastic buying opportunities for the brave. In a few years time I'm sure there will be a few new millionaires after this recession too. Just a case of being a very discerning buyer and remembering Warren Buffet's saying:

    "The sharemarket is there to transfer wealth from the impatient to the patient".
