Time that you caught up with the latest science. Fat doesn't make you fat, in fact eat fat and get skinny. Saturated fat is in fact very nourishing to eat and will only raise your HDL (good) cholesterol and the large fluffy particles(harmless) of LDL.
Sugar and carbs are what make you fat, they spike your insulin and you lay all that sugar down as fat. Wheat products are even worse than sugar with two slices of bread spiking your insulin even higher than six spoons of sugar. Wheat also is very inflammatory, contains phytates that tie up your minerals and contains gluten that tears holes in your gut lining and is the trigger to most autoimmune diseases. you need to keep control of your insulin in order to avoid Diabetes and heart disease.
And now they are saying that dementia is type 3 diabeties also caused by excess Sugar.
Most processed foods contain both sugar and wheat flour.
