Six or seven years ago CSR were trying to get rid of the sugar division, but there was no interest. They then spun off Rinker which was going gangbusters and Cemex paid top dollar for it (nice profit for SH's) Now they'll sell the sugar division to the Chinese- listen to the canegrowers whinge when that happens. Ther's not much left of the company. Ther will be the aluminium business and building products, two industries not relly closely related. I wonder if they'll split those too?
