Atitlan - I gather you don't seem to research stocks you invest in and that numbers don't seem to be too much value to you either.
But if you did, you'd find that the KOTH plant has pretty much performed at or better than its specs suggested from the time it was commissioned. The former RED Board achieved completion of the construction of the plant on budget and on time. Admittedly, they stuffed up cashflow forecasting relating to the actual operation of the plant and after all their good work, had to go cap in hand to the market and raise more capital.
Embarrassing for them but a great opportunity for shareholders who did a bit of number work and participated in a steeply discounted capital raise. From reading posts on this thread, it seems there were quite a few who backed their judgement and research - they're not the ones who are complaining about where the VAU share-price is at the moment.
And given the level of interest taken these days by the insto's, and the number of shares they own in VAU, I don't think anyone from HotCopper really needs to visit any of them and explain how VAU operates.
The professional investors do their research. They're comfortable with numbers and plug them in and out of their spreadsheets.
Once again, Atitlan, I just think your posts are highlighting to us all that you mightn't have much understanding of what you're doing investing in equity markets. It's so very easy these days to open a share-trading account. The hard stuff comes when you start to operate it.
