The class action is only for purchases made between 26 Feb 17 2017 and 19 Jan 2018. I submitted a claim for SGH and I got back about 10% of what I lost. Bought a couple of nice meals at a nice restaurant. I really don't see the harm of opting in. Who knows you might get $12k back. Just imagine if you opt out and it goes ahead and you get zip.
