I agree. I think the Lynas board will refuse the sale due to potential business conflicts between Suhr/Watson and Lynas. The bid most likely will only raise the value of Crown. I disagree with The Age premise that Lynas now has some obligation to sell to Suhr/Watson for a price near $20 million. And while a shareholder vote is not necessary, it can still be called if the board wants it. Bottom line: Suhr/Watson can get Crown. But the valuation will be a lot different and on Lynas' terms and timeline at this point. Perhaps their efforts push for a feasibility study faster than expected.
