yes, of course, but the whole point is that real life is complicated and interactions with the almost infinite other factors in the real world over a period of time (e.g. other medications, underlying mental health issues, hormonal imbalances, other illnesses, physical injury, physical and psychological response to stress) are basically impossible to accurately reflect in a clinical trial. I’m sure the FDA takes extensive and reasonable steps to ensure the safety of drugs, but will never be able fully cover all of the possibilities. And even then many medications end up with a possible side effects list as long as my arm, like Inv2k20 has shown above.
