The $40 turnaround is based on the assumption that MLI may have a 100% surplus(over its needs) of sulphuric acid.
These are all guesstimates - who knows how much sulphuric acid can/will actually be produced from the tailings.
But it's an encouraging possibility - more than a possibility really, as other tailing companies such as First Uranium are going ahead with plans to produce sulphuric acid from their tailings.
