Troy may indeed be quite capable of standing up for himself but in regards ‘misleading posts’ ( as you obviously noticed), the inference that a ‘major holder ‘ was stepping in to ‘assist’ the BOD at AVL go about its’ business (and would thence be contacting ALL AVL shareholders across Australia to promote VSun ) if not actively misleading, did indeed raise several questions, and likely not only by me!
You have explained it was actually one of the larger ex-TMT holders who has decided to assist and that - rather than making contact with AVL leaders - this person met up with forum member, Troy via your introduction?
And that rather than ALL holders being emailed, it will only be those on Troy’s list?
As I recall the only substantial holders at TMT were Matt Walker and RCF although I also remember you citing a relationship with Mark Goulopolous - a partner at Cumulus Wealth who according to a media report may have made an unfortunate investment in TMT on the very brink of the merger news?
Anyway I don’t regret being absent from your ‘insider’ mailing list - the potential for future exploitation of my address was one of the reasons I did not join!
And re my support of the original proposal.
1) There was no guarantee the original offer would be increased! Indeed plenty of companies accept the ‘Not fair But Reasonable’ decree
I did not want my investment to fail or be stuck in a bottom drawer for years.
2) I believed that - seeing as AVL had fallen in price to trading in the 2c range - there would be plenty of opportunity for high percentage ‘price wrangling’ on this side of the fence!
