Demand is set to increase with Niobium being used in Fast Charging EV Batteries !!!!

All EV manufacturers will have to use it or be left behind,
As if a customer has a choice of an EV that charges in minutes,
And the other takes half an hour,
They will chose the one that charges in minutes !!!!

Anyhow it's not just that it's the use in High Strength Steels,
Which makes the average car 200kg lighter,
Improving performance, and efficiency.

Then there's Household batteries,
As well as Huge batteries used for Grid Smoothing,
And Green Energy as well.

Tantalum is also in demand,
As it is highly ductile at high temperatures, very hard, and has excellent thermal and electrical conductor properties. Its melting point of 2,996°C is the fourth highest of all metals.

Tantalum is used in electrolytic capacitors and corrosion-resistant chemical equipment. Tantalum capacitors have the highest capacitance per unit volume of any capacitors and are used extensively in miniaturized electrical circuitry. Other uses include getters and components in electron tubes, rectifiers, and prosthetic devices.

Tantalum is used in medical technology as a radiographic contrast agent and in the production of bone replacement material and implants.

In the aerospace and energy industries, tantalum increases the corrosion resistance of alloys in turbine blades.

Tantalum's chemical corrosion and high-temperature resistance properties provide many benefits to the chemical process industry. For this reason, tantalum is used in the production of reactor coatings, heat exchangers, and pipelines.

Basically Tantalum allows thing like Mobile Phones, Laptops etc,
Be smaller and thinner,
As well as it's other uses in Aircraft engines etc.
