What I see is a multi billion dollar resource sitting near the surface within a stones throw from a deep water harbour. Said resource has the backing of all locals to develop and could begin with minimal cost. Company and owners want it to begin and the country would receive a big stream of cash from royalties but have constantly had roadblocks pushed up to halt progress.

Who has the resources to play the long game and ultimately benefit? Who has exploited the endemic corruption in the past to gain their goals?

If they can delay long enough the locals will get so fed up they will take whatever they are offered ~ see it all the time with broker manipulation on the ASX. This one is just a real life example

I'm not holding but hope AVQ can pull something back for their long fleeced shareholders
