From research it looks like they trialled (in collaboration with City of Hope) the peptide chlorotoxin in human trials back in 2009 (not car t related study). The company seems to have been picked up by Morphotek where further trials were discontinued in 2016/17. There has though been a biomarker update in June 2021 on clinical trials website. From the initial trial there was some really interesting findings including strong efficacy, binding of glios as well as positive crossing of blood brain barrier. Definitely worth looking through the trial data as it gives a little insight into the working of chlorotoxin in human trials for glio. Good find there Difg!
