Both Woodlawn undergrtound and Lewis Ponds have a YORC compliant resource-- drilling is continuing with the object of placing more ore in the measured catagory. Preliminary feasibility: early 2007.
Oct 26: Latest US $/lb: CU: 3.35; Pb: 0.74; Zinc: 1.93; Silver: $12/ounce. Omit Gold.
Value/tonne US$: Cu: 132.6; Pb: 65.1, Zinc 433.0; Ag 32.7 Total: AUS$ 862/ tonne (A$=0.77 US$), a high value to deliver a solid IRR, IMHO.
COMMENT:
1. Values have increased: Lead: US$0.77, Zinc: US$1.98; Silver: US$13.0.
Copper fell to US$3.16 on higher Chinese stocks. I did suggest that the market for Zinc was stronger than for Copper and invited CDU holders (Copper) to make a switch to TRO.
Woodlawn underground: Overall, the Insitu value per tonne has increased; however, in the meantime, i'll use the obscene high In situ value of AUS$862/tonne-see above.
With such a high value, it is immaterial if the extraction cost is going to be AUS$40 or AUS$70/tonne. Wait for a very solid high IRR (Internal rate of return).
Coupled with this is the second most important determinant: RESOURCES
Measured, Indicated and Inferred resource estimate for the redevelopment of the *Woodlawn Underground* Project:
10.1Mt @ 1.8% Cu, 4.0% Pb, 10.2% Zn, 0.55 g/t Au, 85g/t Ag.
Add to that the *Lewis Pond* resource which is still open and is being expanded.
Then add the 10 mill or so tonnes of Tailings.
Altogether, the current Insitu value is well past AUS$10 bill. or per share, a high AUS$125/$130.
Then add the following 3 items:
1. Additional value from some current underground resource worked over in the past in the Woodlawn mine. This is being investigated.
2. The Woodlawn North extension: A 60% is held in the continuation of the Woodlawn project and values are good but more drilling is needed.
3. The "Overflow" Not referred to before but it is a Gold project with interesting values sofar. It is a JV with Triako.
The projects have base metals as well: http://www.trioriginminerals.com.au/projoverflow.html
IMHO, TRO is a very interesting and valuable stock with much zinc, lead, copper and silver.
