    No idea what is going to happen to them in the future, although performance since listing has been poor compared to both other listed IT companies or the sharemarket overall.
    The buyouts might be a good thing - only time will tell but the buyouts are in part funded by issue of new shares, which further dilutes shareholder equity.
    Technology companies revenue in general depend on 2 markets sectors: Government spending and business investment spending.
    Governments are spending at present, but not on themselves and business investment has been at very low levels, although the govt. has tried to boost this recently by offering a one off 50% depreciation allowance for this year. Bottom line is that IT market appears pretty subdued at the moment.
    I think there are better sectors and companies to invest in at the moment
