summary of conversation on invest in germany

Hi mates of green technology,
on the Invest/Expo in Germany/Stuttgart i had a good conversation with the management of Algae.Tec.
So i want to post a summary of this conversation.
I had a chat with Executive Director Earl McConchie and Chairman Roger S Stroud.
Earl McConchie had worked a big part of his life for Dow Chemical.
Earl told me, that only 100 companies around the world are progressing a technology with algaes to get useful fuel.
80% of them are working with the "Pond-Algae-Technology".
Theis means an open system with a lake for example. So they are not flexible and they need 10 times more place than Algae.Tecs tecnology!
Earl and Roger said, Algae.Tec is the only one company, which is listed on a stock exchange.
They said a maximum of 5 of these hundred companies, they are working on a algae-technology have a chance to go in serious production.
Earl explained, the big thing/difficulty of this process is winning the algaes. You have to know, that only 0,3L algaes could be get from 100 litres of water.
Algae.Tec has an own secret process, which is gaining sun with transportable and flexible sun-collectors, which is transporting a maximum of sunpower into transportable and flexible containers.
This are normal 40-feet shipping containers.
This containers can be loaded on a ship and could be shipped trough the whole world. They could be placed on every place.
They have a technology filtering the lightspectrum. So they transport only the blue and the red rays into the container. And with CO2 the algae-population is exploiding ;-)
Think about! They need massive CO2 to get algae, they dont produce CO2.
Do you know companies they are spending a lot of money because high CO2-emissions?
They would be glad to have such a Algae.Tec-plant in the near neighbourhood.
So Algae.Tec has rwo ways to get money. First to eliminate CO2 and getting money from CO2 absorbers and second, to produce fuel with such a plant.
Round about 50% of the algaeproduct will be used to produce fuel.
The other 50% are to produce ethanol.
This method is named with the names of the two heads of Algae.Tec: McConchie-Stroud-System.
The big advantage of this system is the incredible small place they will need for their plants.
