Yeah, there was an article floating around before in regards to the tax increase, I can read chinese and can see that a lot of blacklash by the chinese, essentially they are all complaining the rationale behind the tax raise (1.9% anyway), but their point is, what the chinese is trying to do is to get them to buy local chinese IF, and they thought that by introducing tax to it, they would be able to change the parent's behaviour.
Fact is that, a lot of the parents have no trust to the chinese made formula, and yes the tax increase will add burden to them, but from what I read, they are not going to stop buying from tmall or through the diagou channel.
You need to understand the chinese concern to know that all these tax is not going to have any effect what so ever.
