Tullow highlights 5 potentially transformational exploration and appraisal wells within the above:

Offshore Ghana: Mahogany-4, Mahogany Deep-2, Tweneboa-2, and Teak-1

Cote d'Ivoire : South Grand Lahou (SGL)

Mahogany-4 (spud July) and Deep-2 (spud 4Q09) aim to appraise the eastern extension of the Jubilee field, and better define the resource potential of 600mmbo (P90) - 1200mmbo (P50) - 1800mmbo (P10). Teak-1 is scheduled for 4Q09 and is described as high impact.

Tweneboa-2 is scheduled to spud in September, its aim to appraise the Tweneboa-1 discovery which has P50 potential of 250mmboe and upside potential of 1400mmboe.

The South Grand Lahou, Cote d'Ivoire, prospect lies within an area geologically analogous to the Ghana area, and a very significant Jubilee-type fan system has been identified.

In addition, in Uganda, currently being drilled is the Ngassa-2 well which was the subject recently of a sidetrack following concerns about hole stability. Prior to the decision being made to sidetrack, the drill had reached the top of the target interval and had encountered oil shows. Assuming that the drilling team can reach TD without further problems, the result should be known by the end of August. This well is targetting 600mmbo potential resource (TLW 100%)

All in all, there is a very great deal of activity for the remainder of 2009 and ongoing into 2010, when we can look forward to first oil Jubilee Phase 1 later in the year.
