Socrates , This so called radioctive waste is as harmless as fertilizer.
The only problem lynas has is in peoples heads ,filled by people making unsubstantiated ,uneducated ,and emotive comments ,designed to scare the uneducated ,whether they be investors or residents nearby the plant .
There is more to fear from an acid spill.
I cringe when I read this garbage about radioactivity . Everything is radioactive .People just cant seem to differentiate between levels that are harmful and ones that are safe . This is where mischievous people take advantage of others with less knowledge .
Most of the so called public comments turned out to be one liners "We dont want Lynas ",LOL.
It probably could have only taken a few hours to sift through them. This clearly means that opponents are opposing something for the sake of opposing it .The AELB needs real issues ,that are scientifically based before they would even bother investigating ,not emotive one liners .
The downrampers here also appear to be using emotive rather than scientific comments to take the same advantage because there is no scientific evidence that any of this so called "radioactive waste is harmful" in any way.
There has been no expert that I am aware of that has refuted this .
