I do this someimes on my loved stocks, so for the advanced and LT investors here, please feel to ignore this post... This is intended only as a Very Simple Summary of the Company

I like to look at a company as if I were a potential investor of the company, and through my very basic research, I also learn a lot more about the company that I have invested my hard earned money into...

Basically, I would like to understand, who are RCP, what do they do, and what is the potential of this ASX listed company...

    SUMMARY OF REDBANK COPPER:

Redbank Copper Limited is an Australian based ASX-listed resource company (ASX:RCP) focused on the discovery and development of world-class mineral projects. Currently the company is concentrating its efforts on the Redbank Project located in the Northern Territory, and the Millers Creek Project which is located in South Australia. The company expects to undertake work at Millers Creek during the wet season in the Northern Territory, as a complement to its Redbank Project.

    • Redbank Project area covers 12,913km² (Granted and Application Tenements)
    • Hosts a JORC 2004 Resource of 6.23Mt @1.53% Cu
    • Significantly underexplored – review of extensive, high-quality technical data currently underway to define priority targets
    • Field mapping in 2019 identified over 300 locations outside of the known copper deposits for follow up assessment

    REDBANK PROJECT

The Redbank Project is located in the far northeast of the Northern Territory with the eastern boundary of the tenement package along the Northern Territory / Queensland State border. The Redbank Project covers a total area of ~12,400km² with 8,791 km² granted and approximately 4,122 km² under application. Copper mineralisation over the project area is hosted within vertically oriented breccia pipes, with historic drilling unable to determine the depth extent of these breccia pipes and often ending in copper mineralisation.

The Redbank Project contains an existing JORC 2004 Resource of 6.23Mt @ 1.53% Cu hosted within 7 breccia pipes. This resource estimate does not include 40,000 tonnes of ore (at 2% Cu) stockpiled at surface within the Sandy Flat mining area (see ASX announcement of 2020 Annual Report on 3 September 2020, that the information has not materially changed since it was last reported).

Small-scale historic mining occurred at the Redbank, Azurite and Prince prospects between 1916 and 1961. Open cut mining and processing of copper ore was undertaken briefly between 1994 and 1995 at the Sandy Flat mine. High grade (>5% Cu) copper oxide ore from the mine was stockpiled and later treated via vat leaching in the 2000’s, producing a ‘cement’ copper product containing 80-90% copper metal.

This region hosts significant economic copper mineralisation and is highly prospective for copper, cobalt, phosphate, manganese and uranium.

    Currently,

    Redbank Tenements (Granted) Northern Territory – 8,791 km² (Which include the newly granted tenements covering 5,405km² - EL32464, EL32465, EL32466, EL32467, EL32469, EL32470 and EL32471)

Redbank Tenements (Applications) Northern Territory – 4,122 km²

Once all granted : 12,913 km²

The tenement package includes numerous advanced copper targets and has an indicated JORC resource of 2.76 million tonnes at 1.6 % copper for 43,100 tonnes of copper metal and a total inferred and indicated resource of 6.24 million tonnes at a grade of 1.5 % copper for 95,900 tonnes of contained copper metal.

So here is a map of our current tenement at Redbank and those still under application (self-explanatory) - those highlighted in yellow are the 7 new tenements:

The seven newly granted tenements cover a total area of 5,405km² and include EL32464, EL32465, EL32466, EL32467, EL32469, EL32470 and EL32471 which have been granted for an initial term of six years and bring our granted tenement coverage to 8,791km² in the McArthur Basin....

That is a whopping 8791 km2 of highly prospective land, extending 300 km in distance from the McArthur mine all the way to the QLD border!!

We also acquired tenements EL 31236 and EL 31237 from private vendors. With a strike length now of over 300km, this acquisition locks together a tenement package potentially creating the opportunity to deliver a world class project!!

"The world-class potential of Redbank’s portfolio has been strongly validated by the Federal Government backed 'Exploring for the Future Program’ run by Geoscience Australia, which recently identified a trend traversing Redbank’s tenements as the most prospective region for base metals exploration in Australia.

Given over $100M has already been spent evaluating exploration ground and defining this new base metals trend in Northern Australia, Redbank is very fortunate to have secured a first mover position in this highly sought-after region.

We have a clear exploration strategy to unlock considerable value from the Redbank Project, which includes updating and potentially increasing the current copper resource, screening our extensive landholding to identify priority exploration targets and advancing our copper extraction program at Sandy Flat".

Following some minor delays, the historical drill core data results compiled as part of the database and from recent re-assays of the core has now been provided to external geological consultants to update the existing Redbank MRE to JORC 2012 classification. Timeframe for delivery is now Q2 2021.

    Looking forward to these

    MILLERS CREEK PROJECT

Located in the Gawler Craton region in South Australia is the Millers Creek Project area, approximately 140 km northwest of Woomera. The company currently holds 1110 km2 of tenure. Redbank see the Gawler Craton as a premier location for IOCG deposits, with large nearby projects such as Olympic Dam, Prominent Hill, and Carrapateena.

The company has selected Miller’s Creek from available open ground and utilised images from available gravity data in order to discriminate gravity anomalies, after preparation of a density model and targets selected from the 1500 m depth slice. The Millers Creek gravity anomaly compares favourably with known deposits and prospects in the region. The company considers anomalies which persist at depth are more likely to represent mineralised systems.

What about our Management Team? Do they have "skin in the game"? This following slide should be clear as crystal without me having to go into depth

Ok, so they are highly invested (they believe in their projects), and they have the experience to succeed

Oh, and before I forget, lets not forget to look at the price of copper....

    And what is it now?

Well the above graph was from the AGM presentation back in Nov 2020 when our Management team was getting all excited about the price of copper...

    Now its ....

Wowww, exciting things to come biggrin.png

Please feel free to add to my VERY SIMPLE / BASIC summary of RCP, but I believe we can all see the HUGE potential here....

Would love to learn more about RCP as I continue to be a Long Term holder by such knowledgably posters as Karmalocust who I believe is "right on the money" !!
