I think the jewel in the crown for both these companies is the Platmin exposure, even though there are other gems. PPN continues to rise on the TSX and AIM, and it seems almost certain that Lonmin will mount a bid due to teh "fit" of the PPN assets. But even if not, the outlook for the PGMs is very strong, so PPN can realise massive value from its huge PGM resource base. I think for the few readers on these threads, it should be noted that Keith Liddell is the Deputy Executive Chairman of Platmin, so the level of "inside" knowledge held by MSX of the prospcts of PPN is undoubted.
