Death cross is when the short term moving average falls below the longer term moving average. This indicates declining momentum and decreasing interest in the stock and is a signal for a major sell-off. In other words, indicates that the SP is likely to keep falling. This is pretty much what has happened with TSO for the past 6 months. Sort of coincides with when many of the rampers stopped posting.
