Hi Paul. No uncertainty around ownership only around preemption.
COP own their 35% until WPL get it or FAR/Backers.
Yes I agree FAR have poked a bear but the bear had to be poked if at all possible IMO for far shareholders. FAR had to have a crack at this and as it turns out it seems they have done what I think WPL and COP thought impossible.....find ~ $600 mill Au to be even thinking of preempting.
If they preempt there will be no downside I can see as it will be on sold in all or part at a profit.
There is simply no way the very experienced management team at FAR would be going down this path unless they were very confident of a certain outcome.
As for downside we will end up with what we had 6 weeks ago, 15% of a field that is growing and becoming very popular. AIMO DB
