What has COP losses in drilling offshore Angola anything to do with the book value that COP has for SNE JV, zero in my view.
So for COP it a profit but in reality they are not booking the real value, you know that, WPL the same, FAR likewise and so can silly punters on HC
The SNE field now has five very positive penetrations, with no evidence of the gross oil column thinning.
The only unknown is the decline/pressure drop for the higher oil reservoirs.
Upside for SNE is still wide open.
