I emailed Mexivada from their website re the possibility of exploring for iron ore on their Mayoko ground, just got a reply (very prompt!), as follows:
Dear Marny: This area has already been “staked” by the Chinese, who control the iron deposits there. Yes, and permits are very difficult to get.

How does that make DMM's acquisition appear in light of that? Very interesting.
