Depending on how you look at things.
I don't view MEL's cash position as a negative. I see it being more attractive to external parties due to MEL actively looking for a partners to sure up some funds and continue there exploration.
I think there will be some considerable good news in the short-term for MEL holdings, which could include interest in reseves or the company as a whole in a takeover bid.
