I think short term SUN will no doubt see a pull back, but many people are willing to ride that wave, because LT... with so many brands under our belt, with a new CEO (first impressions was he was he is just what SUN needs..) SUN has a bright future. whether it be 2 years or 5 years, I am confident SUN will hit the $20 mark once again.
While the banking arm is struggling, the insurance business is strong. We will see storms and fires and.. cyclones, this is the nature of insurance. SUN however, is heavily diversified in its insurance dealings.
I welcome the prospect of another bank purchasing the banking arm.. it may very well do better under the control of one of the big 4. The speculation though is a daily topic and frankly its becoming annoying... i wish they would hurry up and make an offer!!! But.. personally, i dont see this happening until sometime next year...
