It want 2GW of clean energy( electricity), by 2030.

Multiple cables,= less expensive.
Really, there are still too many unknowns surrounding this project.
But one can guess, hypothesise even.
If the battery storage, was say Vanadium redox flow batteries, it could be a game changer,they can last for ever,with maintenance,where as lithium ion,would over time need replacing.
