Well, the management of SAU must be anticipating that *some* shareholders won't take up their allocation - otherwise,why would they even bother having a later offering to non-SAU shareholders? So my guess is that as long as he doesn't do something silly before the end of the month, like sell his SAU shares, he has a very good chance of getting his allocation.
