Agree - a good safe stock to buy on the dips. Accumulate and collect the divi's.
Got to remember that SUN are unusual in the market - they combine bank and insurance. No one else does it to the same extent as they do.
SUN will pick up insurance business from IAG over the next year. The bank should perform soundly in the current environment. They sound as though they are going to get through without a downgrade to profit.
I also believe comments regarding takeover talk are off the mark. I can't see anyone sniffing around SUN for quite a while.
