Last week I wrote:

"It is a no-brainer for me. I started to get set and managed to buy in sub-6c. Drilling to come (hopefully by Christmas), Hartleys still recommending this (as I hold SUR, I received a review/recommendation on SUR from them), CVN have a good track record...need I go on.

Speaking as a speculator, you can't expect to hang back and get SUR around 6c...the train has already left as we are getting close to spud. Traders have time but they shall enter later and pay a premium as they do.

We have had the first wave of speculators. More will come, then the traders. Small fluctuations will occur but the general trend is only going one way as we head toward 10-13c pre-spud (depending on the general state of the market)."


So far this is playing out exactly as I suspected. We have seen the first wave of speculators enter the stock and get set. Now we have to tread water with small fluctuations before the next wave of speculators will start to move in. Then, dessert is the traders...
