It doesn't make sense at all wobby... he sold (basically gifted) some 20-25% of his personal stake to his friends (the seeds - who we also know are prominent businessman). And we know the two largest (co-owners of Chiaus) are still on the register. So... forget it...
We know he spends a bit of time through the courts chasing payments for the company and trying to dodge payments for the company... with a mixed bag of results.
We know he's a tight arse with money.
The end game is simply, Xu wants to be at the head of a successful and recognised company.
