"Mr Snowball said there would be no short term job cuts"
If Indian workers who are employed through a contract company and not as Suncorp staff lose their jobs Mr Snowball can honestly say that there will be no job cuts.
And 'short term' does that mean no staff cuts in the next week , month or year?
Perhaps Mr Snowball has the knack for Political Lingo = don't say enough to get anybody upset, and never give a black and white answer so you can't ever be wrong.
