Sundance sounds death knell, seeks new partner

Sundance Resources will forgo the remaining $10 million in promised payments from Hanlong but will hold on to $5 million already received as per the terms of their revised – and now terminated – scheme of arrangement last August.

The deal has been officially put to its death and Sundance says it remains in talks with both Chinese and non-Chinese parties.

Street Talk Online understands Sundance is looking at a potential takeover, a partnership or finding a Chinese group to build and fund the infrastructure. Of the total $5 billion development cost, as much as $4 billion relates to infrastructure and two Chinese parties have provided tenders.
