What a contrast to his two successors - one hauled before a Royal Commission for being instrumental in the deaths of 4 young men; the other - well - also hauled before a RC for a day in the box with a heck of a lot more in store in the witness box once Wilson's stalling tactics get swept aside in the the Magistrates Court this week.
Will Gillard set the record of being the first PM to face criminal charges and also be convicted? We'll see.
[Of course the loopy left have no idea. Having caught on only 2 weeks ago she was being called before the RC they now believe that having survived that she is in the clear because she didn't break down and was dragged out in handcuffs. Of course that is neither the RC's Charter nor role. She has however locked in her version of events, on oath, before a Royal Commission. The penalties for perjuring oneself are considerable. Let's see if VicPol have a few surprises for her.]
