The commencement date has been fluid for around a year now.
You can trawl back through all the previous announcements yourself, but was expected to be:
By end of 2021
then by end of Jan 2022
then by end of Feb 2022
then by end Q1 2022
then by end H1 2022
Last announcement was by end of 2022.

Covid lockdowns in China, political turmoil in Cameroon (MinMIDT at odds with the President re SDL "payout"), allegations MinMIDT was involved in corruption (that favored SDL), the pointless witch hunt in WA, the list goes on... are all bound to add to unplanned delays.

So what makes you think this isn't going to slip even further?

It's quite amusing how people are writing how Ding has done this, and Ding will be doing that.
They wouldn't f'ing know, but idle imaginations run wild.

Having said that, this is testing my patience too.
But we wait for official announcements of fact.
